Welcome to

February 7-12, 2016

2016 will be our 15th trip with The Shepherd Center. This will be an exciting, fun filled, and sometimes challenging trip that is appropriate for those who have skied before, or those who have never tried (or maybe have never seen snow). You need no experience, just a desire to try something new and different and exciting. The highly trained instructional staff at Challenge Aspen will meet you where you are ability wise, and help you gain the skills to enjoy skiing. A note: Your safety is always their first concern.

Haven't seen snow before? You are allowed to stick out your tongue to catch snowflakes, and we can even help you make snowballs. Again, you need have no experience, and your friends and family are welcome to come along - AND THEY CAN SKI WITH YOU! There is no age requirement, and there is something for everyone on this trip.

Challenge Aspen has expert, certified adaptive ski instructors who will offer you private lessons, with two goals in mind:
1)Be safe
2) Have a great time learning to ski to the best of your ability.

You will not be pushed to do something you should not do, but you will be encouraged to develop your abilities at your own speed. And you will probably be amazed at how well you can do.

Do you have people who would like to go but cannot ski? There are lots of other things to do, including dog sled rides, walking tours, the pool, the spa, the Hot Springs, the restaurants and more. Have little ones? There is child care and kids' ski school.

Trip price includes 5 nights lodging, taxes, and fees, ground transportation, baggage handling and maid tips, arrival and departure dinners, and three days adaptive skiing (equipment, lift ticket, and instruction). Companion rates do not include skiing, but we have discounted rates for lifts, equipment, and lessons.

We can customize the trip if you have more than two people please call or email..

No problem. We can get you plugged into any of a number of adaptive friendly destinations – Breckenridge, Park City, Crested Butte, Steamboat Springs, Alpine Meadows, Heavenly, and places in the East. Just call or email.
